Who We Are
Family Owned and Operated
Adam and Savannah were married on the farm in 2019. After realizing how beautiful of an experience it was, they began to move forward with wanting others to experience the same opportunity. Adam ran his own graphics and signage business full time up until 2020 when he started rebuilding the barn. Savannah was a dental hygienist until Feb. 2023. Now they both spend their remaining time managing Rufener Hilltop Farms.
How It Started
EST: 1900
The Windy Acres Barn was built in 1900. In 1930 there were multiple buildings and silos added. The barn served as a working dairy farm up through the 1980’s. After that the barn functioned as a hobby farm for close to the next 30 years until acquired and added to the Rufener Family Farm. With help from friends and family and thousands of hours of man labor, Windy Acres is now ready to thrive for another century.
